Yeovil Literary Prize
Short Description
The Yeovil Literary Prize 2025, organized by the Yeovil Community Arts Association, is a prestigious international writing competition open to aspiring writers worldwide. It invites entries in five distinct categories—Novel, Short Story, Poetry, Children’s and Young Adult Novel, and Writing Without Restrictions—each judged by professional experts. In addition, a Local Prize ("Western Gazette Best Local Writer Award") is available for an entry by an author residing in the Western Gazette distribution area.

Novel:
Requirement: Synopsis and opening chapters (max 10,000 words combined)

Requirement: Maximum 2,000 words

Requirement: First 3,000 words plus a 500-word synopsis
