IZOLYATSIA Foundation (UA) and Malý Berlín (SK), together with Trans Europe Halles (SE). The ZMINA:Resilience program is an international cooperation project co-funded by the European Union.

Title & Description:

Applications are open for the ZMINA:Resilience First Call for Co-creation Funding.

The objective of the call is to support co-creation between Ukrainian artists and cultural organisations and their peers from Creative Europe countries to develop and present an international project on the topic of resilience. Each partner is expected to contribute equally, whether through creative input, management responsibilities, or audience development.

All Cultural & Artistic Sectors (Except Audio-Visual).

Eligibility:

  • Who: ORGANIZATIONS ONLY. The applicant must be an organization active in the field of arts and culture. Solo artists cannot apply directly; they must partner with an eligible organization to act as their umbrella and lead applicant.
  • Geographic Requirement: UKRAINE & CREATIVE EUROPE COUNTRIES ONLY. This is not open worldwide. Projects MUST include at least two organizational partners from at least two different eligible countries, and one of those partners must be from Ukraine (registered in a zone effectively controlled by the Ukrainian government).
  • Medium: All creative sectors are eligible WITH THE EXCEPTION of the audiovisual sector.
  • Presentation Requirement: Each co-creation project must include a public presentation in the locality of every participating partner (at least two local presentations, including one in Ukraine).

Program Benefits & Awards:

  • Funding: Grants of up to 25,000€ per project. (Note: Expected number of grants is 7–10, from a total available funding pool of 187,500€).
  • Budget Coverage: The grant covers up to 90% of project costs. Applicants are required to provide the remaining 10% as a contribution.
  • Eligible Activities: Funding covers all activities necessary to implement the project, presentations in each locality, and travel related to organizational, rehearsal, artistic, and presentation purposes.

Application Requirements:

The application must be submitted by a single representative of the consortium/project partners (Lead Applicant). Applications must be submitted entirely in English.

  • Online Presentation & Q&A: March 25, 2026, at 14:00 (Kyiv) / 13:00 CET.
  • Matchmaking Session: March 31, 2026.
  • Application Deadline: May 10, 2026, at 23:59 (Kyiv time).
  • Evaluation Period: May 2026.
  • Announcement of Results: June 2026.
  • Signing of Grant Agreements: July 2026.
  • Implementation Period: Up to 7 months (July 2026 – January 2027).
