Arte de América is an independent platform dedicated to the research, dissemination, and development of contemporary art produced across the Americas and its diasporas. Conceptualizing the Americas not as a singular identity but as a plural, complex geography of displacements, memories, and shared histories, the organization operates digitally while maintaining in-person mentorship capabilities in Miami, Madrid, Havana, and Buenos Aires. The platform acts as a bridge for collaboration between artists, curators, researchers, writers, and international audiences.
Objectives
The platform aims to strengthen contemporary art practices originating from Latin America and its global diasporas through critical analysis, editorial support, and professional networking. Arte de América seeks to build sustainable, conscious, and rigorous professional pathways for artists by offering tailored mentoring, open calls, and publishing assistance. By examining territories, materiality, and contemporary conceptual approaches, the platform strives to extend the life, reach, and archival presence of contemporary artistic practices.
