Description & Background
Founded in Hamburg, Germany, in 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic, MOON ART is an art initiative, non-profit organization, and global community platform. Conceptually produced by AHC Projects Hamburg, the platform established the first Hybrid Art Show in Hamburg to display contemporary artworks across digital and physical touchpoints. By operating independent of typical shipping logistics and flight constraints, MOON ART showcases original artworks through 3D virtual spaces, online viewing rooms, large digital screens, and in-person exhibitions.
Objectives
MOON ART aims to connect and support visual artists worldwide while bridging the gap between creators, curators, art collectors, and cultural professionals. Driven by a vision to showcase art outside the traditional “white cube” space and blur the line between art and life, the organization creates new exhibition models that foster art exchange and international communication. Through institutional collaborations and hybrid technology, MOON ART works to build creative synergies, empower artists, and offer local and global visibility to contemporary art practices.
