Overview
Established in 2018 and revitalized in 2024, No Place Art is an artist-led initiative and exhibition platform founded by printmaker, artist, curator, and installer Rowan Siddons. Inspired by psychogeography and the Greek etymology of utopia (ou meaning “not” and topos meaning “place”), the initiative explores the liminal space between absence and possibility. Operating as a bridge between emerging creative voices and patrons, No Place Art creates opportunities for artists to showcase their work, build professional networks, and connect with supporters who champion their vision.
Objectives
No Place Art aims to support and uplift emerging artists by offering platforms where creativity can alter perceptions, challenge social norms, and foster community. Drawing inspiration from avant-garde movements and the blending of art and life, the platform seeks to re-imagine societal possibilities and build networks of mutual support. By facilitating exhibitions, tailored awards, and industry connections, No Place Art strives to empower artists to transition their creative practice into a lasting legacy.
