Overview
Passaby Collective is a youth-led arts and cultural organization based in Goma, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Grounded in the spirit of community engagement, resilience, and hope, the collective uses creative disciplines to bring artists and local residents together. The organization operates across Goma and surrounding regions to transform public spaces into vibrant platforms for expression, dialogue, and cultural pride.
Objectives
The collective aims to promote peace, social inclusion, environmental awareness, and creative opportunities for young people through street art, music, storytelling, and community engagement. Passaby Collective seeks to empower local youth and artists to become active agents of positive social change while building cross-cultural bridges across Africa and internationally. Driven by a mission of “celebrating art with the people, for the people,” the organization strives to create inclusive environments where art, collaboration, and community action come together.
