Overview
Established in 2024 by founder Vijay Singh Beniwal and co-founder Jayshree Singh Deo, Prarambh Art Studio is an independent, practice-led art studio, exhibition venue, and residency platform located in Jaipur, India. Beginning as a space dedicated to printmaking, hands-on making, and artistic dialogue, the studio has expanded into a multi-faceted hub hosting workshops, academic engagements, institutional collaborations, and international exchange programs. The facility supports traditional printmaking infrastructure alongside contemporary, experimental approaches.
Objectives
Prarambh Art Studio aims to nurture printmaking as a living, evolving art form that honors traditional techniques while actively engaging with contemporary thought and material experimentation. Grounded in values of accessibility, process-based learning, and critical thinking, the studio seeks to create a reflective environment for artists, educators, and students. By bridging local printmaking traditions with global contemporary practice, Prarambh strives to empower emerging voices, support artistic independence, and build meaningful cross-cultural connections.
