Eligibility:

  • Open to all fiction writers.
  • Named Fellowships: Specific fellowships are available for applicants who meet certain criteria, such as:
    • Charm City Fellow (for applicants from MD, PA, D.C., NJ, VA & VI, preference for Baltimore/BIPOC applicants).
    • Institute of American Indian Arts Fellow (for Native American writers).
    • Nancy Graves Fellow (for writers whose work is archive-based).
    • Vincent Prize Fellow (for trans*/genderqueer writers).

  • The residency is open to fiction writers working in all genres and forms.
