CENTER's PERSONAL AWARD

CENTER, a non-profit organization based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, has been supporting photographic and lens-based artists since 1994. The 2025 Call for Entry offers $16,000 in funding, exhibition opportunities at CENTER’s new gallery, admission to Review Santa Fe portfolio reviews, publication features, and professional development seminars.

Final Submission Deadline: March 15, 2025 (11:59 PM MT)
Application Fee: Starts at $35 before February 15, increases by $10 after this date. Members receive discounted entry fees.

Eligibility:

Open to photographers and lens-based artists worldwide.
Accepts all photographic processes, including mixed media and video (specific categories only).
Previous work may be re-submitted as a new jury panel is selected each year.

Theme:

The open call covers multiple categories, including the Personal Award, which focuses on powerful self-representation and underrepresented experiences.

Upload work samples and project statements via the online submission system (link sent after payment).

Submission Requirements:

Work samples (photographs, lens-based media, or multimedia files for specific categories).

Selection Process:

A new panel of jurors is invited annually to review submissions.
The Personal Award will be judged by Pauline Vermare, the Phillip & Edith Leonian Curator of Photography at the Brooklyn Museum.
