New York International Art Competition

The “Chaos Code” competition is an international art contest exploring the evolving relationship between humanity and technology. Hosted by the Whitelock Art Center, New York, this competition invites artists to challenge the boundaries between AI-generated art and human creativity. Selected works will be showcased in an online exhibition from April 20 – May 20, 2025.

📌 Eligibility:

Open to artists worldwide, including professionals, art school students, and art enthusiasts.
Participants must be 18 years or older.
Individuals or teams may submit up to 5 artworks.
All submitted works must be original and align with the theme.
Accepted Mediums
- Painting, sculpture, photography, video, new media, collage, installation art, visual arts, digital art, AI-generated art, multimedia, ceramics.
- Works can be 2D or 3D but must be suitable for online presentation.

📌 Theme:

“Chaos Code” explores the confrontation and collaboration between human intuition and AI-generated art. Artists are encouraged to critically engage with themes of digital identity, artificial intelligence, post-humanism, and globalization.

Artwork Images: High-quality JPG format (for sound/video art, provide a link and a main image).
Artist CV (PDF).
Artist Statement (Brief concept description).
Artwork details: Title, year, medium, dimensions, artist’s name, and nationality.
Proof of submission fee payment (screenshot).

A panel of renowned artists, curators, and critics will assess submissions in three rounds, considering:

Creativity & Theme Relevance: Innovative interpretation of the “Chaos Code” theme.
Technique & Skill: Execution and craftsmanship.
Emotional Impact: Depth of expression and viewer engagement.
Concept & Innovation: Uniqueness and contemporary relevance.
