IN-SONORA is a Madrid-based association supporting experimental sound and interactive art. For its 14th edition, the biennial event invites artists worldwide to submit installations, events, sound pieces, videos, workshops, and conferences for a diverse program in March 2026.

Information & Application Details:

  • Open Call Period: February 25 to April 7, 2025 (no late submissions).
  • Event Date: March 2026 (exact dates announced post-selection).

Eligibility:

  • Open to artists of legal age, any nationality.
  • Priority to emerging artists or those new to IN-SONORA.

 

Theme & Disciplines:

  • Installation: Sound, interactive, audiovisual (physical or virtual).
  • Event: Live performance (20–40 min).
  • Sound Piece: Fixed format, max 10 min.
  • Video: Max 10 min with stereo audio.
  • Workshop: Short, monographic (in-person/virtual).
  • Conference: Public presentation, max 1 hour.

  • Submit a biography, piece information, images, audio/video links, and optional dossiers.
  • Indicate presentation preference (physical, virtual, or hybrid).

 

Submission Requirements:

  • Fully produced pieces ready for exhibition.

  • Artists responsible for costs (transport, accommodation, production, insurance).

 

Selection Process:

  • Jury: IN-SONORA team and art professionals.
  • Criteria: Quality and feasibility.
  • Results announced May 2025 via email and website.
