About Kunsthal 44Møen
Kunsthal 44Møen is an international exhibition venue located on Møn in southern Denmark.
The art gallery was established in 2008 by the German curator and art collector René Block in close collaboration with a group of friends who all have strong ties to the island: the Danish artist Bjørn Nørgaard, the Danish experimental composer and fluxus artist Henning Christiansen.
Since its founding, Kunsthal 44Møen has presented an ambitious program with emerging as well as well-established artists from Denmark and abroad.
The art gallery’s exhibitions reflect its founders’ legacy from FLUXUS and the Eks-skolen and are supplemented each season with a rich program of talks, performances, concerts and educational activities.
