Short Description
Laçzos Artísticos is an international mobility program for artists, promoted by the Organization of Ibero-American States for Education, Science and Culture (OEI) and by the Direção-Geral das Artes de Portugal (DGARTES).
It is the result of an agreement signed in 2023 to support internationalization in the Ibero-American space and in the countries of the Comunidade dos Países de Língua Portuguesa (CPLP).
Within the framework of their work to promote culture, the OEI and the DGARTES have joined forces to launch this new programme of scholarships for exchange and artistic improvement in the geographical spaces of Ibero-America and the CPLP, with the aim of promoting and valuing artistic exchange, without forgetting the importance of supporting internationalisation.
Eligibility
Promotion of the circulation of artistic projects registered by citizens of Ibero-America and countries that have Portuguese as an official language, in these regional spaces.
Individuals over 18 years of age, residents or nationals of an OEI member country and/or CPLP member who carry out a predominantly professional activity or who are associated with professional artistic entities, may apply for this programme, in order to deepen their skills, knowledge and artistic development.
The artistic activity that is presented must be predominantly in the areas of:
- visual arts (architecture, plastic arts, design, photography and new media);
- performing arts (circus, dance, music, opera and theater);
- street arts;
- interdisciplinarity.
Applications for projects in the same country of residence as the candidate will not be accepted.

First, it is necessary to fill out this form, indicating the basic information about the application.
Once you have completed the form, you must send the documentation required in the regulations to the email address laczos.artisticos@oei.int. You will receive an email confirming receipt of the documents.
Program Benefits & Awards
The Programme will have a total annual value of €25,000.00 and will consist of the awarding of 11 scholarships, each for an amount of €2250, aimed at contributing to the artistic and professional development of the beneficiaries.
The amount of the grant awarded will include air travel and the corresponding medical and travel insurance necessary for the development of the artistic project.
