Fogo Island Arts (FIA) is a residency-based contemporary art venue located on Fogo Island, Newfoundland, Canada. Established in 2008 as an initiative of Shorefast, FIA supports the Research and production of new work by artists, curators, and thinkers globally. This residency is a cultural exchange initiative designed to foster connections between France and Canada. It offers an emerging French artist at an early stage of their career a unique opportunity to spend two months on Fogo Island. The program provides a dedicated period for creative development, allowing the artist to immerse themselves in the island’s distinctive landscape and rural culture.

Eligibility
