Organizer Information
The International Studio & Curatorial Program (ISCP) is a nonprofit contemporary art institution in Brooklyn, New York, founded in 1994 (originally in Tribeca, Manhattan) by Dennis Elliott. Since moving to its current home in a former factory in East Williamsburg in 2008, ISCP has hosted more than 2,000 artists and curators from over 100 countries, making it one of the most comprehensive international visual arts residency programs in New York. The organization operates two residency tracks — an International Program for artists and curators from around the world, and a Ground Floor Program for New York City-based artists — supported through a network of more than forty partner sponsors, including governments, foundations, and institutions. SAHA, the organizing partner behind this specific residency, was founded in 2011 to support artists, curators, and writers working in visual arts from Türkiye, and has backed over 650 individuals and initiatives across 52 countries since its founding.
Title & Description
2027 ISCP SAHA Residency
SAHA and ISCP are continuing their collaboration, ongoing since 2013, with an open call for a three-month residency in Brooklyn for an artist from Türkiye. The residency runs from March 1 to May 31, 2027, and gives the selected artist a private studio at ISCP along with full participation in the institution's residency program activities, including visiting critic meetings, field trips, a public talk, and Open Studios.

Program Benefits & Awards

- Stipend of up to $10,861 USD total, covering accommodation, living expenses, and related travel costs
- Travel and accommodation expenses reimbursed upon arrival, after submission of receipts
- Participation in all ISCP residency program activities, including monthly visiting critic meetings, field trips to museums and galleries, a public talk, and Spring Open Studios

Additional Details
The grantee is responsible for making all arrangements related to their own travel and accommodation; ISCP does not arrange housing. Reimbursement of travel and accommodation costs occurs only after arrival and submission of receipts. This residency continues a partnership between SAHA and ISCP dating back to 2013, with past recipients including Güneş Terkol, Burak Delier, Emre Hüner, Belit Sağ, Cem Dinlenmiş, İnci Furni, Volkan Kızıltunç, Barış Göktürk, Sümer Sayın, Eda Gecikmez, Alper Aydın, Cem Örgen, and Merve Tuna.
