Two-Year Nordic Career Grant: CPH STAGE EAP – Buddy Programme

CPH STAGE invites applications for the EAP – Buddy Programme, a two-year professional development initiative. The programme is designed to support early-career professionals by pairing them with experienced artists and producers who serve as ‘buddies’. Through shared activities, curated networking events, talks, and participation in CPH STAGE, the programme offers an inside pathway into the international performing arts field. The initiative includes guided participation at CPH STAGE International Days (2026 & 2027) and participation in ILT Festival (Aarhus, 2027), along with online preparation sessions and ongoing support.

Eligibility:

The call is open to emerging artists and producers based in the Nordic region. Eligible countries/territories include: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, the Faroe Islands, Greenland, and Åland. The programme seeks a cohort of 6–8 emerging professionals.

Program Benefits & Awards:

  • Stipend: 6,600 DKK (approx. 884 EUR) to support participation.

  • Travel & Accommodation: Covered travel costs for programme-related festival activities, plus accommodation provided during festival attendance and EAP events.

  • Subsistence: Per diem / subsistence support during travel and festival participation.

  • Access: Free registration for festival events (CPH STAGE and partner festivals).

  • Mentorship: Guidance by established artists and producers experienced in international markets.

  • Networking: Access to industry networks, including presenters, programmers, and peers.
