Short Description
The AIR – ARTIST IN RESIDENCE Niederösterreich program in Krems promotes international cultural exchange. It offers artists from the fields of visual arts, architecture, culture, music, literature, and digital media the opportunity to live and work in Lower Austria for a period of time and explore the local cultural landscape.
Eligibility
We welcome artists of all ages from the age of 18.
Our scholarship programme is for artists who have completed their artistic training. Self-taught artists also have the opportunity to apply, but must provide proof of active artistic activity.
Submission Requirements
- Portrait photo (JPG format, max. 1 MB)
- CV (PDF format, max. 1 MB)
- Portfolio (PDF format, max. 15 pages, max. 7 MB)
- Planned project (max. 4.000 characters)

Program Benefits & Awards
Artist collectives are welcome to apply for a residency. However, the fellowship award of €1,950 does not change.
