The Arroscia Residency is a Texas-based, artist-run, 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. Dedicated to supporting the artistic community, the organization provides self-directed residencies that allow artists the time and resources necessary to focus on their practice in an inspiring Italian setting.

Applications will open on March 3, 2026, for the Arroscia Residency Fall 2026.
This program offers 3 to 8-week, self-directed art residencies specifically designed for emerging or mid-career artists. Located in Italy, the residency provides a sanctuary for concentrated creative work, free from the distractions of daily life.
The residency culminates in an exhibition of the artist’s work created during the stay, ensuring public engagement with the project.
Note: While the application portal opens in March, a sample of the questionnaire is currently available on the website so that interested artists can begin compiling their information and preparing their answers in advance.
