Art Omi. A not-for-profit arts center situated on three hundred acres of open land in the historic Hudson River Valley. It features a 120-acre sculpture and architecture park, a gallery, and diverse residency programs designed to foster cultural exchange and innovation.

Applications are open for the Art Omi: Artists Critics/Curators-in-Residence 2027.
Each summer, Art Omi invites two dozen international artists along with two Critics/Curators-in-Residence for a 3.5-week program. The selected Critics/Curators play a pivotal role: facilitating discussions, connecting artists with art world professionals through the Visitors Program, and conducting individual studio visits. This role provides an unmatched opportunity to network and interact with highly talented international artists.

Eligibility:
- Who / Strict Constraint: Open to critics, curators, and art writers who have been professionally active for at least the past 5 years. (This must be demonstrated via resumes, websites, blogs, published articles, and/or reviews).
- Community Engagement: The resident MUST enjoy being immersed in a communal artist community. Residents are expected to reside on campus for the full duration and must attend nightly communal dinners.
- Guests & Family: Residents are strictly NOT permitted to have overnight visitors at Art Omi, including spouses and children.
- Pets: No pets are allowed.
- Alumni Rule: Alumni of the program are not eligible for a second residency.
Program Benefits & Awards:
- Honorarium: A $1,500 honorarium.
- Travel: A travel grant is provided.
- Accommodation & Meals: A large private bedroom with a comfortable workspace in shared living quarters. All meals are provided (dinners prepared by a local chef; breakfast/lunch catered or prepared in a fully equipped shared kitchen).
- Amenities: Access to campus-wide Wi-Fi, a swimming pool, bicycles, on-site laundry, and library.
