The “Art on Climate” International Competition is organized by Fingertips Company Limited and sponsored by Allianz Global Investors.
The initiative operates at the intersection of Visual Arts, sustainability communication, and financial-sector climate advocacy. Since its launch in Spain in 2019, the competition has evolved into a global platform that invites illustrators and motion designers to translate complex climate and sustainability frameworks into accessible visual narratives. The program is closely aligned with ESG-driven investment philosophy and aims to expand public understanding of climate transition strategies through artistic expression.

Art on Climate International Illustration & Animation Competition 2026
The Art on Climate Competition is a global open call focused on the urgent theme of Climate Change, encouraging artists to transform environmental data, sustainability concepts, and climate policy frameworks into powerful visual storytelling.
Participants are invited to submit original works in two categories: illustration and short animated video. The competition is not only a creative showcase but also a communication platform designed to bridge the gap between climate science, financial systems, and public awareness.
Thematic focus areas include:
- Climate transition and resilient communities
- Biodiversity protection and planetary boundaries
- Inclusive capitalism and just transition models
- Innovation, technology, and decarbonisation solutions
- Collective action and sustainable legacy building
Artists are expected to interpret these themes through conceptual, narrative, or symbolic approaches within Illustration, Animation, and digital storytelling formats.

Eligibility
- Open to international applicants
- Applicants must be 18 years or older (as of 17 May 2026)
- Emerging and professional artists are eligible
- Open to illustrators, animators, designers, and visual storytellers
- Individual submissions only (no group entries)

Illustration Category
- Champion: €2,000 + e-certificate
- 1st Runner-up: €1,500 + e-certificate
- 2nd Runner-up: €1,000 + e-certificate
- Merit Awards: €150 + e-certificate (20 selected works)
Animation Category
- Champion: €2,000 + e-certificate
- 1st Runner-up: €1,500 + e-certificate
- 2nd Runner-up: €1,000 + e-certificate

Application Requirements
- Original illustration(s) or animated video(s)
- Short artwork description (30–100 words)
- Up to 3 illustrations and 3 animated videos per participant
- Works must be unpublished and not previously awarded
- No AI-generated artwork allowed for the illustration category
- No identifying marks (names, signatures, logos) allowed on submissions
- Technical specifications:
- Illustration: A3, 300 DPI, JPG, max 10MB
- Animation: 10–15 seconds, MP4/MOV, max 30MB
- Animation aspect ratio: 9:16 or 1:1
- English text only for on-screen content
