Arte Laguna Prize is a Venice-based International Contemporary Art Contest with over two decades of experience. Dedicated to celebrating innovation and connections, the competition welcomes emerging artists without restrictions, offering them opportunities to expand their networks, gain global visibility, and access crucial resources for career development.

Title & Description:

Applications are open for the 21st Edition of Arte Laguna Prize.

This prestigious competition offers 120 finalists the opportunity to exhibit their works in the iconic Arsenale Nord in Venice, a massive 3,000-square-meter venue, from November 6 to November 29, 2026.

A jury of leading international curators and museum directors—including Yuko Hasegawa (Japan), Hélio Menezes (Brazil), and Gianluigi Ricuperati (Italy)—will select the finalists and the winner of the €10,000 cash prize.

Beyond the exhibition and cash award, artists can sell their work on the artelaguna.world platform and compete for numerous Special Prizes created with international partners, including residencies, gallery exhibitions, and corporate collaborations.

  • Criteria: No restrictions on age, gender, nationality, or artistic background.

Application Fee:

  • Artists Under 35 (born on or after January 1, 1991): €97.60 (VAT included).

  • Artists Over 35 (born on or before December 31, 1990): €122.00 (VAT included).

What this fee covers:

  • The submission of up to 5 artworks (which can be in different categories).

  • A dedicated page on the Arte Laguna World portal.

  • Free participation in the Special Prizes (residencies, galleries, business collaborations) if you fill out the dedicated forms.

Additional Works: If you wish to submit more than 5 works, there is an additional cost of €24.40 per extra work.
