Atelier Artist in Residence. A unique arts residency program that continuously curates programming and destinations to transport artists of exceptional talent to immersive, creative workspaces.

Applications are open for the Atelier Artist in Residence 2026 Sessions.
These 2-week programs offer uninterrupted time to work, step away from the noise, and sink into your practice in highly curated European locations:
- Chateau de Cerisay (France): A sprawling French estate 40 minutes from Le Mans, offering Spring (Q2) and Autumn (Q4) sessions.
- Westcove Estate (Ireland): A Georgian manor on the shores of the Wild Atlantic Way on the edge of the Ring of Kerry, offering late summer/early autumn sessions.

Multidisciplinary (Painters, Writers, Photographers, Musicians, small-scale Sculptors, Poets, Illustrators, Digital Artists, Textiles, Printmaking, etc.).
Eligibility:
- Who: Open to artists worldwide at all stages of their career (amateur, emerging, or established).
- Accessibility: People with mobility issues may find it difficult to attend due to the architectural layout of the historic properties and the physical demands of some outings. The organizers explicitly state they will NOT have additional staff available to assist.
- Couples/Duos: Couples are welcome to apply, provided that each person is actively engaging in their artistic practice during the residency (whether collaborating together or working independently).
Program Benefits & Amenities:
- Workspace & Accommodation: Private bedroom housing and access to both shared and private studio spaces.
- Meals: Chef-prepared group dinners are provided each evening. For other meals, there are fresh morning deliveries from the local boulangerie, and breakfast/lunch provisions are fully stocked for artists to prepare on their own schedules.
- Excursions: Organized day trips to local villages, galleries, historic sites, and local markets (marchés and brocantes) for cultural immersion.
Application Fee & Program Costs:
- Application Fee: Free to apply.
- Program Cost: The tuition fee to attend the residency is $2,800 USD for the France sessions and $3,700 USD for the Ireland sessions. (Note: A payment plan is available).
- Funding & Scholarships: The organization strictly DOES NOT offer grants or scholarships. Artists must seek outside funding if required.
- Not Included (Artist Responsibility): Tuition strictly does NOT cover transportation to/from the destination, additional meals outside of those provided in-house, alcohol, art materials, or costs associated with non-scheduled activities.
