Brief Description:

BID25ART is an international biennial exhibition organized by the Associazione Biennale Internazionale Donna APS. The event will take place in the second half of 2025 at Magazzino 26 in Trieste, Italy, or a similar venue. The exhibition focuses on women artists and features selected works alongside those of internationally recognized artists.

Eligibility:

  • Open to female artists of all nationalities
  • Works must be created between 2020–2025
  • Artists can submit up to three artworks, but only one will be selected

Theme:

“Nostalgia. Matter of Emotions” explores nostalgia as a transformative force, connecting memory and hope through artistic expression. The theme encourages reflection on personal and collective histories, identity, and change.

How to Apply:

  • Step 1: Submit personal details and pay the registration fee
  • Step 2: Upload artwork materials, including:
    • Biography (max. 3,500 characters)
    • Portfolio (6 images, JPG, 72 dpi, max. 2MB)
    • Descriptive caption and statement for the submitted artworks
    • High-resolution photos or video links for installations/performances
  • Submission must be completed online before the deadline

Submission Requirements:

  • Artists may propose up to three works (only one will be exhibited)
  • Works must align with the BID25ART theme
  • Previously exhibited works at BID/ART are not eligible
  • Selected works must be shipped at the artist’s expense in reusable packaging

Selection Process:

  • A jury of experts (to be announced on the website) will review submissions
  • Selection is based on artistic quality and relevance to the theme
  • Artists will be notified by July 2025
