Organizer Information
Indie Balkans is a regional platform promoting contemporary music creation and collaboration across Southeast Europe. In partnership with Stay Independent and supported by Athens Music Week, the organization fosters cross-border artistic exchange through workshops, songwriting camps, and mentorship programs. Its mission is to connect emerging and mid-career musicians, producers, and songwriters with professional networks and industry opportunities.

Bridging Balkan Borders Vol. 5 – Athens Songwriting Camp 2026
This open call invites songwriters and producers from Southeast Europe to participate in an intensive music creation and collaboration program in Athens, Greece. Selected participants will work with regional peers and top-level mentors in professional studios, engaging in cultural exchange and co-creating original compositions. The camp culminates in an industry listening session during Athens Music Week, providing exposure to publishers, labels, and A&Rs. The residency emphasizes creative experimentation, cross-border collaboration, and professional development.

Eligibility
- Open to songwriters and producers from Southeast Europe (Serbia, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Cyprus, Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Greece, Slovenia, Kosovo, Turkey, Moldova)
- Emerging artists encouraged
- Must be available for full camp duration (May 2–6, 2026)
- Must be able to travel internationally (if not based in Greece)
