Short Description
Our mission is to provide support for creatives facing challenging circumstances. Brisons Veor is a residential workspace set in an inspiring and unique location, where creatives in any medium can take time out to work on a project, away from the day-to-day distractions of their home lives. We recognise the diverse obstacles that artists may encounter, from financial struggles and health issues to full-time caregiving responsibilities or the lack of adequate studio space. Our commitment is to offer affordable live/work space, ensuring artists have an environment where they can focus on their projects.
In some cases, we provide bursaries to fully fund a one-week residency. We assess each application on its own merits, welcoming artists engaged in research, exhibition preparation, or facing impending deadlines who require a studio space for concentrated work.
The studio is available year-round for self-funded residencies at affordable rates, for a maximum period of four weeks.
Eligibility
Brisons Veor invites applications for self-led residencies at our residential artist studio.
We welcome artists from diverse disciplines including painters, writers, poets, performers, photographers, mixed media artists, musicians, and more. We provide a studio with accommodation for creative professionals whose income or opportunity to find studio time is constrained by their personal circumstances.

Entry Fee
UK Residency costs 2026 at Brisons Veor, Cape Cornwall.
October – April (inclusive)
£450 per week
An extra service charge of £15 is payable if bedding is required.
May – September (inclusive)
£550 per week for the resident artist,
There is an extra charge of £175 per week for each additional person.
International Residency Costs 2026 at Brisons Veor, Cape Cornwall.
£700 per week
An extra service charge of £15 is payable if bedding is required.
There is an extra charge of £175 per week for each additonal person.
