Organizer Information:

Proyecto´ace is an independent, non-profit cultural center located in the Colegiales neighborhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Since 2005, it has served as a dynamic hub for contemporary art, fostering cross-cultural exchange and expanding artistic practices. The center operates the acePIRAR (Artist-in-Residence International Program), which connects international residents with the vibrant local cultural scene. Their mission emphasizes collaborative work, debate, and experimentation across various disciplines.

Title & Description:

The Exploration Residency is a 4-week program designed as an artistic "time out." Unlike production-heavy residencies, this track prioritizes process over results. It is ideal for artists, curators, and researchers who need a dedicated environment to explore new ideas, conduct research, or write without the pressure of a final exhibition. Residents are encouraged to draw inspiration from the city and their peers. The program fosters a rich exchange of ideas through "Brainstorming" meetings and interaction with the local art community.
