Short Description:
Hellmouth Magazine is a non-profit dedicated to publishing quality cultural commentary, literature, personal essays, and art. We aim to foster meaningful dialogue between multiple spheres of influence, encouraging cultural exchange through engaging, provocative, and sometimes cheeky compositions.
Artists may submit their work with an artist statement, bio, and details for an artist feature.
Sending in your work does not guarantee publication, but we will review every submission.
Application Requirements: Please submit a 1-2 paragraph proposal for the article you wish to write. This includes an article you have already written, ideas that you would like to suggest, a tip for a good story or show to check out, or artists that deserve attention. Some categories of work we are interested in include: arts commentary, theory, philosophy, exhibition reviews, visual analysis of art, short stories, poetry, personal essays, op-eds, thoroughly researched investigative or academic inquiries, personal gripes, outlandish claims, unfounded opinions, tall tales, and ancient soliloquies.

Program Benefits or Awards: Submissions are for consideration of both online and in-print publication. Web articles will be posted about twice a month and the magazine is a quarterly publication.
