Organizer Information: Ephemere Photo Journal is an independent publication dedicated to the intersection of photography and literature. Following the success of their first volume, which explored the theme of "Duality," the journal is preparing its second collectible print edition. Ephemere is committed to creating tangible archives of work designed to be collected and preserved, championing artists through both physical distribution and digital channels.
Title & Description: The journal invites artists and writers to contribute to Volume 2, launching in 2026. The central theme is "Triplicities: The Magic of Three." While photography often relies on the "Rule of Thirds" for visual balance, this edition expands that concept into a philosophical framework. The editors invite contributors to view ephemerality not as a singular event, but as a cycle. The call specifically seeks text-driven photo features where writing and imagery lead one another in a "seamless tango." The goal is to innovate and discover unique three-part structures that anchor the ephemeral nature of our world.
