Short Description
CastCeramics is more than just an artistic initiative—it is a transformative journey where tradition meets innovation! This international collaboration unites three organizations with a shared vision: reinventing ceramic art by merging traditional craftsmanship with modern digital tools. If you’re an artist ready to experiment, explore, and connect, this Iitinerant residency is for you!
Eligibility
Visual artists based in Austria, Poland, and Italy, with a particular focus on those interested in ceramics. We prioritize artists facing fewer opportunities, including migrants, refugees, and living in rural or remote areas, as well as young artists from disadvantaged or marginalized backgrounds, who face economic and social barriers. We encourage refugees from Ukraine to apply, but not only.
Additionally, we aim to engage artists and craftspeople from other disciplines who are interested in ceramics or 3D printing technology. Our project also extends to participants who are not artists but
have a genuine interest (and knowledge) in ceramics.
CastCeramics empowers visual artists by providing them with advanced skills and technological tools, ensuring their work remains relevant and competitive in a globalized art world while celebrating the diversity of the cultural heritage in Europe. We encourage people from Ukraine and migrant artists living in Italy, Austria and Poland to apply.
