CENTER, a nonprofit organization based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, has been supporting photographers and lens-based artists since 1994 by providing direct funding, exhibitions, portfolio reviews, and educational opportunities. In 2025, the organization will offer $16,000 in funding, a group exhibition at its new gallery, admission to Review Santa Fe portfolio reviews, featured publication within LENSCRATCH, and access to professional development seminars.

  • Application Fee: Starts at $35 per category before February 15; increases by $10 per category after this date.

Eligibility:

  • Open to photographers and lens-based artists worldwide.
  • Accepts all photographic processes, as well as video and mixed media that are photo-based.
  • Work can have been made at any time.
  • Previously submitted work may be resubmitted since jurors change annually.
  • Only the Multimedia Storytelling Award and Review Santa Fe accept video, multimedia files, or still images for submission.

 

Theme:

The Project Launch Grant is open to fine art or documentary photography projects that are either complete or nearly complete.
