Short Description
Four to six artists are hosted annually for two-month residencies. Resident artists are provided with an apartment on the museum grounds, a studio in downtown Marfa, and access to Chinati’s collection and archive.
Eligibility
• Visual artists/ installations/Audio/Sound/Dance/Performance/Video artists
Submission Requirements
• Visual artists: 10-15 images (at least 300 dpi in JPG or TIFF format) of installations or works
• Audio/Sound/Dance/Performance/Video artists: 2-4 video or audio files
• Corresponding image captions with title, date, dimensions, media, and location of installation (on one page)
• Biography (between 100-200 words)
• Artist Statement (between 200-350 words)
• CV of education and exhibition history

Program Benefits & Awards
