Applications are open for the “Doers Do” International Exhibition.

This exhibition examines action, agency, self-discovery, and personal growth. It emphasizes courage, lived experience, and the power of voice in shaping meaningful activism across art and social movements worldwide.

Category:

Multidisciplinary (Photography, 2D digital art, video art, performance art, web art, interactive art, sculpture, painting, and installation art).

Eligibility:

  • Who: Open to creative artists worldwide.
  • Shipping: The artist is completely responsible for the shipment and delivery of physical works to and from CICA Museum, as well as all related expenses.

Program Benefits & Awards:

  • Exhibition: Works will be exhibited at CICA Museum from December 2 – 20, 2026.
  • Printing/Installation (Digital/Photo): Selected 2D digital and photography works will be printed (10×15 or 10×10 inches), framed, and installed by curators and assistants.
  • Equipment (Video/Interactive): The museum provides projectors and media players (multiple single-channel works will be screened via a shared projector).

Application Fee & Program Costs:

  • Application Fee: Free to apply.
  • Post-Selection Fee: If an artwork is selected, the artist MUST contribute $78 USD (or 110,000 KRW) per piece to cover show processing and maintenance expenses.
  • Additional Fees: Additional fees may apply if the artist requests non-standard printing/framing sizes, or if a video work requires an exclusive projector or more than two monitors.

Application Requirements:

  • Submission Materials: * Up to 3 direct links to video AND/OR up to 5 JPG images (100-500KB recommended).
    • A brief artist bio.
  • Email Formatting: Submissions must be sent via email, and the subject line MUST be formatted exactly as: Submission: Doers Do – Category – Artist’s Name
