Short Description
World Forestry Center (WFC) was established in 1966 and continues to create and inspire champions of sustainable forestry. We have accomplished this through community outreach, advocacy, ongoing programming, and exhibitions in our Discovery Museum. We are gearing up for our 60th anniversary in 2026 and have partnered with Pendleton to create a Commemorative Blanket Design for World Forestry Center’s Anniversary. We are reaching out to the arts community for artists to submit their blanket designs in celebration of this momentous occasion!

Program Benefits & Awards
If your artwork is chosen as the final design for the commemorative blanket, the chosen artist will receive special recognition from World Forestry Center and a cash award of $500. You will be invited as a special guest to the unveiling ceremony at the Discovery Museum 2026, and receive and be pictured with the first blanket.
