Title & Description

Creekside Arts Spring Residency Program 2026
Creekside Arts invites applications for its Spring 2026 Residency Program, a three-week immersive opportunity for 5–7 artists to explore creative projects influenced by land, nature, community, and social or political consciousness. Residents will develop new work while collaborating with fellow artists and engaging with the local community. The program emphasizes equity, diversity, and environmental sustainability, offering a dynamic environment for experimentation and inspiration. Each participant receives fully equipped private studio and living quarters, while the residency concludes with a public showing and panel discussion. Artists from all disciplines—including Painting, Sculpture, Photography, Installation, Fiber/Textile Art, Performance, Writing, and Multimedia—are encouraged to apply. The program fosters both solitary work and collaborative exchange, complemented by evening gatherings featuring films, discussions, and interactions with local Northern California artists. A key component is a half-day community engagement project, allowing artists to share their practice with schools, local organizations, or the public.
