Short Description

The German Dance Association is pleased to announce the opening of applications for our travel and accommodation grant. This grant is designed to support individuals outside of Germany who wish to attend movement analysis or teacher training programs in Germany. The aim is to facilitate international exchange, networking and qualification in the field of dance pedagogy.

 

Eligibility

  • Individuals based outside Germany who work in dance education and seek to further their professional development in pedagogy or movement analysis
  • Applicants must plan to attend consecutive longer-term training programmes (lasting several days or involving several parts) in Germany
  • The funding is intended for consecutive and longer-term training programmes in the fields of dance education, dance mediation and movement analysis.
    Eligible programmes may include those offered by professional associations or vocational schools, among others.

 

Submission Requirements

  1. A brief statement of interest (max. 1500 characters)
  2. A brief CV outlining qualifications and own dance pedagogical work (max. one page)
  3. Title and further information on the designated training programme
  4. The estimated required funding amount (no detailed cost calculation needed)

Program Benefits & Awards:

  • Coverage: travel and accommodation costs during the funding period
  • Amount: reimbursement of the actual costs
    • up to 1,000.00 € for European applicants (geographical)
    • up to 1,500.00 € for non-European applicants
  • Excluded: short distance flights will not be covered for environmental reasons
