Unfair Foundation is an artist-led platform that has been dedicated to promoting emerging contemporary artists for over a decade. For this initiative, they have partnered with Hugo Rocci (Terry Bleu) and Floor Kortman (Pleasant Place)—book lovers united by a shared belief in the power of print and community.
Title & Description:
Applications are open for "Dear books," a new art book fair presented as part of the UNFAIR26 event.
Conceived as a "love letter to print and independent publishing," this fair will take over a 200 m² space to present the work of 50 independent publishers and art book makers from around the world. It is a celebration of independent voices, artist publications, experimental editions, and carefully crafted books.

Eligibility:
- Who: Publishers, distributors, bookmakers, and artists.
- Requirements: Applicants must have an ongoing publishing practice and a love for art books.
- Commitment: Selected participants must commit to full attendance during the fair's opening hours, as well as the designated setup and takedown times.

Application Fee & Program Costs:
- Application Fee: Free to apply. (Note: Applying does not guarantee participation).
- Table Costs: If selected, participants must pay a participation fee for their booth space:
- €150 for a full table (150 x 75 cm).
- €75 for a half table (75 x 75 cm).
- (Travel, accommodation, and shipping costs are the responsibility of the participant).
Application Requirements:
Applicants must apply through the official portal. Be prepared to confirm your availability for the mandatory setup (Thursday, Sept 17, 13:00–15:00), the opening event, the full weekend hours, and takedown (Sunday, Sept 20, 17:00–18:00).
