Organizer Information

Delfina Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to facilitating artistic exchange and developing creative practice through residencies, partnerships, and public programming. Based in London, Delfina Foundation connects artists, researchers, and cultural professionals globally.

For this program, Delfina Foundation partners with St Paul’s Cathedral, a historic and internationally recognized place of worship and cultural landmark, and The Irma Pastrana Borrero Foundation for Humanity’s Peace and Development, an organization fostering inter-religious dialogue and education through the arts and academia. Together, these partners offer an international residency specifically for contemporary visual artists from Latin America and the Caribbean, focusing on the intersection of space, spirituality, and artistic practice.

Title & Description

Delfina Foundation Residency for Latin American and Caribbean Artists (Winter 2027)

This open call invites contemporary visual artists based in Latin America and the Caribbean to apply for a 12-week residency in London from 5 January to 28 March 2027. The residency provides artists with dedicated time and space for research-led artistic development, access to resources and mentorship, opportunities for networking with peers and cultural professionals, and professional development activities including portfolio reviews, studio visits, and crits.
