Dream Big Art Gallery (DBAG) is a cultural arts platform operated by DB World, a subsidiary of DB Group, which leads initiatives in culture, art, and environmental awareness. The Dream Big Art Awards (DBAA), now in its 8th edition, is an international media art competition organized by DB World with support from DB Insurance and the Environment Foundation. The program's mission is to discover and support outstanding digital artists and provide exhibition opportunities to showcase their work to the public across DB-affiliated exhibition spaces.

[8th Session] Dream Big Art Awards Media Art Contest
DB World is hosting the 8th Dream Big Art Awards Media Art Contest to promote emerging artists in the media art and video fields and to provide exhibition opportunities for their work. Award-winning works will be exhibited on the 1st floor of the DB Financial Center Media Art Gallery, the basement 1st and B2 floors of the DB Insurance Busan Office Media Art Gallery, and the exhibition spaces of Seoul City Hall Seoul Gallery My Friend Seoul 1, offering the public a diverse media art experience.
Theme
Free/open theme. Submissions should propose media art that balances everyday familiarity with creative value to help the audience feel comfortable. Expressions that may cause disgust or discomfort to the public should be avoided.

Eligibility
- Two divisions: Student Division (current students at domestic — Korean — universities and graduate schools) and General Division (including students on leave and overseas applicants)
- No limit on the number of participants for team submissions; however, one representative must be designated, and prize money is paid to that representative
- Submitted work must be a media art video suitable for broadcast on a digital screen, considerate of the public's perspective, and intended to provide visual enjoyment
- Works with a dark atmosphere or unclear colors are not accepted
Program Benefits & Awards
Two award tracks are offered — Mandatory Works Awards and Selected Works Awards — each split between Student and General divisions:
Mandatory Works Awards (36 people/teams total, 70,000,000 KRW total)
- Student Division (23 people/teams, 30,000,000 KRW total): 1st place (1) — 6,000,000 KRW; 2nd place (2) — 3,000,000 KRW each (6,000,000 KRW total); Excellence Award (7) — 1,000,000 KRW each (7,000,000 KRW total); Encouragement Award (10) — 500,000 KRW each (5,000,000 KRW total)
