Organizer Information
RESEO (European Network for Opera, Music and Dance Education) is a leading international network dedicated to advancing learning, participation, and audience engagement in the fields of opera, music, and dance. Founded in 1996, RESEO connects cultural institutions, educators, artists, producers, and arts professionals across Europe and beyond. The network promotes innovation in performing arts education through conferences, professional development initiatives, collaborative projects, research activities, and international exchanges.
Through its annual conferences and networking events, RESEO creates opportunities for professionals working in participatory arts, community engagement, cultural mediation, audience development, and arts education to exchange ideas and develop new collaborations. The Europe and Beyond Cultural Mobility Programme was established to expand access to these opportunities by supporting professionals from countries that are traditionally underrepresented within European cultural networks. By reducing financial barriers to participation, the programme encourages international dialogue, professional mobility, and long-term cooperation across borders.
The second edition of the programme focuses on participation in the RESEO Conference 2026, which will take place in Brussels, Belgium, bringing together cultural professionals working in opera, music, and dance education from across Europe and neighboring regions.
Title & Description
Europe and Beyond Cultural Mobility Programme 2026
The Europe and Beyond Cultural Mobility Programme 2026 offers financial support to artists, educators, and cultural professionals from selected countries to attend the RESEO Conference 2026 in Brussels, Belgium.
The initiative aims to increase geographical diversity within RESEO’s international network while creating opportunities for professional development, networking, peer learning, and international visibility. Selected participants will engage with leading practitioners, cultural institutions, and arts organizations working in opera, music, and dance education.
Through conference sessions, workshops, discussions, and networking activities, participants will gain insight into innovative educational methodologies, audience engagement strategies, participatory artistic practices, and emerging developments in performing arts education. The programme also encourages knowledge exchange between professionals from different cultural and geographical backgrounds, fostering future collaborations and strengthening international cultural connections.
The mobility grants are designed to support individuals and organizations that may not otherwise have access to international professional development opportunities, helping them connect with peers across Europe and beyond.
