Organizer Information:

BLU Spazio delle Arti is an independent cultural center in Rome, founded in 2023 by RAABE APS. It operates as a dynamic hub for the production and experimentation of contemporary art. A distinctive feature of BLU’s mission is its focus on upcycling, viewed not just as an artistic technique but as an ecological and political stance against consumerism. They aim to transform waste into materials with new aesthetic value, fostering dialogue between artistic languages and communities.

Title & Description:

Following the success of their first edition, BLU presents IGREEN 2025, an exhibition project dedicated to the color of nature, vitality, and hope. However, this call invites artists to look deeper than the surface. In an era where "green" is often manipulated for commercial or political rhetoric, the project challenges artists to question the true meaning of sustainability. IGREEN seeks to foster aesthetic and ethical reflection, encouraging works that explore the balance between humanity and the planet, and the tension between ecology and artifice.

Category:

The call accepts all expressive languages, including Painting, Sculpture, Installation, Photography, Video, Performance, Textile Art, Sound Art, and Digital/Multimedia practices.

This opportunity is open to artists of legal age residing or active in the European Union.
