About the European Emerging Bands Contest
This is your chance to shine! Enter the European Emerging Bands Contest and take the stage at #EYE2025 (European Youth Event) in front of an electric crowd of 5,000+ young people. Picture this: performing live in the stunning city of Strasbourg, in front of the European Parliament, on the 13 and 14 June 2025. Sounds amazing, right?
Eligibility
Solo artists or bands (max 6 members) from:
- EU member countries
- EU candidate countries (Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine)
- EFTA countries (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland)
- Former EU member countries (United Kingdom)
- All band members must be under 30 years old.
- Your music should be accessible to a wide audience.
Submission Requirements
- 2 to 5 songs (in video format – YouTube or Vimeo – or audio format – .mp3)
- A video of a live performance (optional)

- A 30-minute live performance in front of thousands at EYE2025 – and we’ve got you covered! Your travel and accommodation expenses are fully paid by JM International. Plus, we offer a cash prize of €1000 per band and €500 per solo artist!
