Brief Description:
FIAR is the first U.S. residency exclusively for LGBTQIA+ artists. The four-week summer residency takes place in Cherry Grove, Fire Island—an iconic LGBTQ community. Selected emerging artists will share a live/work space and engage in studio visits and public lectures by leading figures in contemporary art, scholarship, activism, and curation.

Selection Process:
