Organizer Information

Flushing Town Hall (FTH) is a community center and arts organization based in Flushing, Queens (NYC). It is active in supporting local artists and cultural work across the borough through grants, public programming, and community engagement initiatives. The Artists in Queens Grant is part of its efforts — funded via the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) Statewide Community Regrants program — to support individual Queens-based artists.

Title & Description

The purpose is to strengthen community bonds, increase cultural access, and enrich the local arts ecosystem in Queens. Projects may take various forms — visual art, performance, multidisciplinary work — but must include a public or community component (e.g. exhibition, performance, workshop, outreach).
