Forecast has announced the call for ideas for the 11th edition of Forecast Mentorships. The platform offers an international mentorship programme designed for artistic practitioners and cultural producers working in all creative fields.

Title & Description:

International Call: Forecast Mentorships 11th Edition (Berlin & Global)

Forecast invites applicants to submit projects that could benefit from the expertise of one of this edition’s mentors and their unique approach to material and knowledge production. The selection process is two-tiered:
  1. The Forum: Mentors select three nominated concepts each (18 nominees total). These nominees are invited to Berlin to discuss and present their ideas at Radialsystem during the Forecast Forum in July 2026.

  2. The Mentorship: Following the Forum, each mentor selects one concept to accompany to realization. From August 2026 to March 2027, the mentor and mentee convene for a short residency consisting of creative exchanges and in-person mentoring at a hosting institution. The residency culminates in a public premiere.

  • Tom Cassani (UK) – Performance Maker

  • Keren Cytter (IL) – Artist and Filmmaker

  • Lucy McRae (Aus) – Sci-fi Artist and Body Architect

  • Almagul Menlibayeva (Kaz) – Multimedia Artist

  • Heinali (UA) – Composer and Sound Artist

  • Practitioners: Artistic practitioners and cultural producers working in all creative fields.

  • Geography: Open to applicants anywhere in the world.

Program Benefits & Awards:

  • Forum Stage (Nominees): Selected participants receive a fee of 2,000 EUR. Travel and accommodation are covered (Note: For duos and collectives, only one person’s travel and accommodation is covered).

  • Mentorship Stage (Finalists): The six artists selected for the realization stage each receive an artist fee of 6,000 EUR and a production budget for realizing the project.
