ForesTEEN is a Europe-wide cultural network that connects young people with international performing arts and creative experiences. The project, funded by Creative Europe, focuses on empowering teenagers aged 15–25 to engage with cultural festivals, develop their artistic skills, and participate as active ambassadors within a transnational creative community. Through collaboration with partner festivals across Europe, ForesTEEN provides young participants opportunities to experience live performance, exchange ideas with peers, and contribute to the cultural life of their communities. The organization emphasizes education, cross-cultural dialogue, and youth-led engagement in the arts.
Title & Description
ForesTEEN EU Passport – Travel Grant for Teen Ambassadors (15–25)
The ForesTEEN EU Passport offers European teenagers a unique chance to attend international festivals across Europe while receiving financial support for travel costs. Selected participants will act as TEEN Ambassadors, documenting their experiences, engaging with local and international peers, and contributing to the ForesTEEN network. The programme combines cultural participation, networking, and creative skill development, creating a platform for young people to explore performing arts, develop leadership and communication skills, and foster friendships across borders.
Participants will be reimbursed for travel expenses (up to €350, depending on distance and travel type), receive accommodation provided by the host festival, and join the broader ForesTEEN community online. The initiative encourages young people passionate about art, theatre, and creativity to actively engage in cultural projects and become part of a growing European network of youth ambassadors.

Eligibility
- Age 15–25 years old.
- Residents of European countries participating in the ForesTEEN network.
- Interest in culture, performing arts, creativity, and youth engagement.
- Willingness to travel to one of the host festivals.
- Consent to participate in the ForesTEEN research programme (questionnaires, reports).
- Ability to act as a TEEN Ambassador within the festival context.
