Title & Description

Gasworks Residency Open Call Algeria

This open call offers an 11-week fully funded residency for an early-career artist based in Algeria. The residency will take place at Gasworks in London from 30 September to 15 December 2026, supported by Selim & Houda Bouafsoun.

The program is self-directed, non-prescriptive, and process-based, emphasizing research, experimentation, and professional development rather than the production of a final exhibition. Artists are expected to independently lead their work while benefiting from Gasworks’ curatorial, administrative, and pastoral support.

Participants will engage with London’s dynamic art scene, develop new ideas, and build professional networks through studio visits, presentations, and interactions with artists and curators.
