Eligibility
The program seeks to recognize photographers who defy trends and create their own unique visual language. It values artists with uncommon ideas, courage, and individuality—those who reveal their inner thoughts and emotions through their work.
Applicants are expected to demonstrate the ability to observe and investigate their surroundings and daily lives, uncovering the hidden poetry, drama, and beauty within them. The program also aims to honor photographers who capture both the awe-inspiring rituals, routines, and actions that define human life, and the harm or destruction that may accompany them.
