Short Description

The Gyeongsangbuk-do International AI·Metaverse Film Festival (GAMFF) is an innovative film festival that combines AI technology with the virtual convergence industry. GAMFF is a global event that explores the impact of AI on the video industry and presents new possibilities for videomaking based on cutting-edge technologies.

Eligibility

  • General and Youth Categories (for elementary, middle, and high school students) can be chosen.
  • It is possible to participate individually or in teams (maximum 5 members per team). If participating as a team, only the representative (team leader) needs to submit the entry once.
  • There are a total of 5 competition categories, and participants may apply for up to 2 categories.
  • However, if applying for the APEC Special Category, participants may submit works to up to 3 categories, and multiple awards are possible.

Submission Requirements

  • Generative AI must be utilized. (e.g., AI video generation, AI voice synthesis, AI editing tools, etc.)
  • A description of the submitted work is required.
  • Video : Full HD or higher (1080p+), 16:9 aspect ratio, MP4 format
  • Webtoon(using character IP) : 50 to 149 cuts based scroll format for web publication, JPG/PNG format, resolution 300dpi or higher (minimum width: 720px, no height limit)
  • Poster(publishing) : A2 size (420mm x 594mm), JPG/PNG format, 300dpi or higher, CMYK color

  • Prize money will be awarded after deducting applicable taxes.
  • The First Prize will be awarded regardless of individual/team, general/youth division, or submission category.
  • First Prize winners will have the opportunity to promote their work at overseas film festivals partnered with the ‘Gyeongsangbuk-do International AI·Metaverse Film Festival.’
  • Multiple awards are allowed.
