Organizer Information
HART HAUS is a prominent, not-for-profit arts organization dedicated to supporting, incubating, and nurturing new generations of creative talent. HART HAUS champions cross-disciplinary exploration, bridging the gap between emerging contemporary practitioners and Hong Kong's active visual arts, design, and architectural sectors.
Title & Description
HART HAUS G/F Proposal Open Call.
Applications are officially open year-round for independent artists, contemporary curators, and creative collectives to submit comprehensive exhibition proposals. Rather than operating purely as a commercial gallery space, the ground-floor venue functions as an adaptable civic platform engineered to prompt meaningful public conversations, inspire community interaction, and widen the public appreciation for alternative contemporary practices.
The Spatial Layout & Unique Aesthetic:
The showcase takes place on the Ground Floor of the historic Cheung Hing Industrial Building in Kennedy Town. Blending raw industrial design markers with modern, open shopfront characteristics, the space represents a beautifully transformed old office space. Positioned steps away from the Kennedy Town MTR station and the University of Hong Kong, its geographical node guarantees high public visibility and convenient neighborhood accessibility.

Additional Details
By sealing and submitting an application, creators legally verify that they hold absolute presentation authority over all proposed works and that the visual components do not infringe upon third-party intellectual property guidelines. Because the G/F layout maintains a highly unique, street-facing window identity, the placement, hanging systems, and safety standards of heavy or structural components must be carefully aligned with building management regulations.
