The International Council of Museums Committee for Conservation (ICOM-CC), with support from the Getty Foundation, is offering a special initiative to support global participation in their upcoming major conference. Funded Travel Grants: ICOM-CC 21st Triennial Conference in Oslo (2026)
ICOM-CC will offer a limited number of Travel Grants for museum and/or conservation professionals to attend the 21st Triennial Conference of ICOM-CC. The conference is scheduled to take place in September 2026 in Oslo, Norway. The goal of this "Connecting Professionals/Sharing Expertise" initiative is to ensure diverse representation by supporting professionals from emerging economies and developing countries who might otherwise be unable to attend this pivotal global gathering.Category:

Geography: Open to professionals from emerging economies and developing countries defined as ICOM country categories 3, 4, and 5. This includes regions such as Africa, Asia and the Pacific, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and Latin America.

Experience: Applicants must be qualified museum/conservation professionals with a minimum of five years’ work experience.

Employment: Must be currently employed in a museum or related institution.

Membership: Grants are not limited to ICOM members. However, special consideration will be given to individual members of ICOM/ICOM-CC, Friends of ICOM-CC, or those working for ICOM institutional members.

The grant is fully funded and covers:-
Accommodation and Sustenance: Covered for the duration of the conference in Oslo from 14 to 18 September 2026.
